In the mid 80s, I met my dear friend Laurie at work. Well, not actually at work, I met her on the telephone as I was her IT support in NJ while she was located in Albion, NY. We developed a telephone relationship and then met when I made a seminar trip to Albion. We clicked immediately. I cannot tell the world how excited I was when she announced she was moving to NJ to be with Ron. While in NJ she, Ron, Rich (my husband) and I went out to many dinners. Since they really didn't have family close by, they became part of our family for Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve dinners. Magically we moved to Lakewood Ranch FL within 6 months of each other. The family dinners continued. Her illness and loss of Ron was painful to everyone who knew her. I'm sharing Christmas of 2002 in Florida with Ron and Laurie holding my 7 month old granddaughter, Kelly. I'll be back another day when I dig up more photos. The world lost two special people when Laurie and Ron left us.

Mary Lou- I am sorry I am just now seeing this! It sounds like you and my mom were destined to be good friends and within 30 miles of each other 😍. That's super coincidental to be living and/or moving near each other. ❤️
